HCA Allied Health, A Success Story!

Words by Gemma, Physiotherapist, HCA Allied Health, NSW   After spending almost 18 months in his room and unable to sit out of bed due to pain, fatigue and muscle weakness, Norman finally has his strength back to attend Friday evening Happy Hour!   Norman has been working really hard with me, in our Physiotherapy sessions, to improve his range of movement, strength and endurance. Everyone was delighted to see Norman up and about and even met one of his old high school friends who he did not realise was residing here too – a real high school reunion!   This story shows the importance of hard-work, determination and trust between client and Physiotherapist. Norman’s next goal is to maximise his independence by getting an electric wheelchair…   Watch this space!
