Rostering Consultant

Healthcare Australia is a registered NDIS provider. From Community Access to day-to-day support, we’re here to connect you with customised NDIS support suitable to your needs and lifestyle

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Rostering Consultant to join our National Rostering Team. In this vital role, you’ll ensure the smooth and efficient allocation of support workers to meet client needs – helping us deliver exceptional service and continuity of care. You’ll work closely with our Recruitment and Service Delivery teams to maintain strong communication, efficient workforce planning, and a consistently high standard of customer service.

Day to day!

  • Manage and maintain rosters to meet customer demand, ensuring shifts are filled and planned up to eight weeks in advance.
  • Match support workers to customers based on skills, availability, and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment, Service Delivery, Customer Care, and Business Relationship teams to ensure workforce requirements are met.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new staff into the workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission legislation, Fair Work requirements, and internal policies.
  • Monitor shift allocations for compliance with working hours, rest breaks, overtime, and minimum engagement periods.
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities within rostering processes and the customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staffing requirements, vacancies, and projections using CRM systems and MS Office tools.

Lets talk about you!

You’re an organised, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with experience or qualifications in disability, community services, or a related field, and strong rostering, workforce management, or coordination experience. You bring a solid understanding of the NDIS and health-related services, along with excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building skills. Known for your attention to detail and proactive, solutions-focused approach, you’re confident using MS Office and CRM systems and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. To join us, you’ll need a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, a Working with Children Check, and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You.
