Nurse Unit Manager – Aged Care

We are currently recruiting for several Nurse Unit Manager’s to lead and inspire care teams across aged care and healthcare services in Regional Victoria.

This is an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses to develop valuable management experience and leadership skills, preparing them for a future transition into clinical manager roles.

A key leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care through effective clinical leadership, staff management, and resource coordination.

About the Role

  • Lead and mentor a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Care Staff.
  • Oversee care planning, assessments, and clinical governance.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families, GPs, allied health, and community partners.
  • Support workforce planning, rostering, and performance management.
  • Promote a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and service development.

This role offers a mix of clinical and management shifts, allowing you to remain hands-on while leading service delivery.

About You

You will be a motivated and compassionate leader with:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing clinical care in an aged care setting
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills and an engaging, supportive leadership style
  • AHPRA Registration
  • High level of organization and adaptability, with a commitment to innovation and excellence
  • Experience mentoring and developing nursing staff
  • Willingness to relocate to Regional Victoria
