About Us
Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a National organisation that provides a variety of direct and indirect (Agency) services to the Healthcare Sector. We are currently experiencing high demand for our Home Care (Aged in the Home) services in the Port Macquarie Area and are looking for passionate and caring people to join our Home Care Program to help deliver these services.
About the Role
As a Home Care Support Worker, you will be required to provide assistance to elderly clients living at home through the promotion of independence and choice. You will deliver high-quality assistance to clients using a person-centred approach. A successful candidate will maintain compliance with standards, adhere to organisational policies and procedures, whilst promoting the core values of Healthcare Australia.
- Assisting with domestic duties and household chores, including washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting
- Assisting with Personal Care Assistance
- Assisting with the preparation and cooking of meals
- Assisting with social support and encouraging engagement in social activities

Eligibility:
- Cert III in a relevant field is required.
- Buddy shifts to learn from an experienced Home Care Support Worker
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Police Clearance or willing to obtain.
- Valid AU Driver’s Licence
- Current influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations
- Reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations (KMS are paid)
