Are you a passionate leader with a strong background in Aged Care? My client is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee a 42-bed home in beautiful Toowoomba/QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical RN or a highly experienced non-clinical leader with a deep understanding of Aged Care standards and legislation.
About the Role
As the Facility Manager, you will play a key leadership role in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. You’ll be responsible for the daily operations of the home, ensuring delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with regulatory and organisational requirements. Your leadership will foster team engagement, build a strong workplace culture, and ensure the long-term financial and operational success of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a diverse clinical and care team
- Oversee compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
- Manage budgets, staffing, and business operations
- Maintain relationships with families, staff, community partners, and stakeholders
- Support continuous quality improvement and accreditation processes
- Represent the facility in audits and external inspections

Located in historic Toowoomba, Northridge Salem offers 42 beds and a peaceful country lifestyle surrounded by stunning gardens and open green space. The facility is known for its warm, supportive environment and dedication to personalised care.
What You Bring
- Right to work in Australia
- Experience managing an Aged Care facility (minimum of 40 beds)
- Clinical background preferred (Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration)
- Proven leadership in Aged Care, with strong knowledge of standards and legislation
- Skills in budgeting, strategic planning, and staff management
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Dementia Care, Palliative Care, and ageing processes
- Experience in quality systems, compliance, and accreditation
- Valid Queensland Driver’s Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance or National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
