This week, HCA celebrated Women’s Health Week (2-6 September) by inviting our nurses and midwives to join us for an event to put women’s health first. Thanks to all the Nurses & Midwives who attended!
We held a Free Women’s Health Event in the HCA Sydney Office hosting:
– Free Yoga
– Healthy breakfast, including yogurts, muesli, banana bread, coffee and tea
– Health Checks by a Registered Nurse, including Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Blood Glucose, Breast Checks and BMI
Our Nurses and Midwives mingled and chatted about the importance of good health, visiting the doctor often as well as being open about women’s health issues.
It was great for our HCA staff and Nurses and Midwives to meet in person and enjoy some downtime together.
We encourage everyone to put their health first all the time, not just for women’s health week – that goes for men as well!
