About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a Radiology Clinic in Bunbury. This role is ideal for an RN seeking work-life balance, predictable weekday hours, and a supportive clinical environment outside of shift work.

You will play a key role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures, working closely with Radiologists and Technologists in a professional and patient-focused setting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform IV cannulation for contrast administration (essential)
  • Prepare patients for radiology procedures, including CT, MRI, and interventional imaging
  • Administer contrast media in accordance with protocols
  • Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, including recognising and responding to adverse reactions
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
  • Support infection control and clinical safety standards
  • Provide compassionate, clear communication and reassurance to patients
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary radiology team
  • Assist with stock management and clinical room preparation

Skills & Experience Required

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Proven competency in IV cannulation (essential)
  • Previous experience in radiology, medical imaging, perioperative, ED, or acute care (highly regarded)
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and adherence to protocols
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
