Healthcare Australia (HCA) is the leading healthcare recruitment solutions provider of nursing staff, aged/disability care workers and medical specialist placements in Australia with operations in every state and territory.
As an Operations Consultant in our business you will have the important role to:
- Efficiently respond to inbound calls and emails from our healthcare clients to help them fill evening and overnight shifts (i.e a Nursing Manager within a hospital) – ensuring satisfaction and a seamless placement process through effective communication and customer service
- Contact our amazing nursing candidates – placing them into these evening/overnight shifts often a short notice
- Ensure this process follows our required compliance (which we will train you on!) and follows all legal and statutory requirements
This role offers you 4–5 shifts per week (30 hours min) with a focus on afternoon and evening availability – 7 days week. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that supports our healthcare clients with after-hours staffing needs (including weekends). Your shift typically starts at 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM, so it’s important that you’re comfortable working exclusively during these times across a mix of weekdays and weekends.

Working within a tight knit team of Recruiters and other Operational Consultants we are looking for:
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills – from experience in a commercial call centre, sales or recruitment environment…bonus points if this is from in multi-site service businesses or withing target-driven environments
- Great verbal communication skills as evidenced when we give you a call to discuss this role!
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in scheduling staff (only desirable)
Any understanding of the healthcare, nursing, or aged care sectors will put you at an advantage!
