HCA Allied Health 2021 Super Successes and 2022 Sneak-peak

Words by Jeremy Kestenberg, General Manager, HCA Allied Health   It’s hard to believe the end of 2021 has come already. We all thought 2020 was crazy, but then we got 2021!   This year again produced its challenges for our business and our community; lockdowns, single-site movements, vaccine deadlines, regulatory changes and new compliance initiatives. I’m so proud of the way in which our support team and clinicians have collaborated to deal with these issues; day-in, day-out.   At the same time, it’s time to reflect on some amazing successes; continued growth of our workforce (despite the above challenges), implementation of new services across various health settings throughout Australia, introduction of our mental health and wellness initiatives, and the growth of our community allied health team.   I’m proud of all of these achievements, and the manner in which we have navigated these challenges, as a team.   We continue to receive outstanding feedback from our partner organisations, referrers, participants, consumers and customers around Australia. Healthcare Australia has cemented itself as a leading allied health provider in the community and aged care settings.   Lastly and most importantly, I want to thank each clinician who once again donned the HCA purple shirt, for your hard work, courage and commitment. Next year will be an exciting one, with some exciting developments already in the works.   Wishing you all a happy festive season, a restful break, and I can’t wait for 2022!   Best,   Jeremy Kestenberg General Manager – Allied Health, Healthcare Australia
